Heading Home

We spent a nice morning in our hotel room reading the Sunday School lesson and relaxing before catching the train back to Salt Lake Sunday afternoon.  It ended up being delayed, so we spent a couple of extra hours in the station reading, etc.  It was nice to get back on the train and have some private space. 
We had dinner with a really....interesting?....couple that evening.  It was nice to get back to our room once again. 
Even though it was only 7:00 pm, we were beat and decided that since the train would arrive in Salt Lake close to midnight, we'd better get some rest so we could make the drive home from Salt Lake to Logan.  It was so nice to have a place to lay down and get a real night's sleep.

Of course, we did plenty of our usual techy stuff, too. 
I had to snap a picture of all our luggage.  With having brought our own skis, boots, snow gear, etc., we had quite the load!  That's another nice thing about traveling by train, though.  The luggage allowance is MUCH more generous. 

This was a great trip.  It was fun to be gone for a short period of time, just a long weekend.  It was fun to go, go, go the whole time.  It was fun to ski and to try a new sport.  It was really fun to be together and to be on a trip that Stanton planned.
